Practising architecture through the application of the collaborative and the organic to research and design, we have an extensive portfolio of projects that includes residential, commercial, hospitality, health, judicial and tertiary education facilities. We fashion novel approaches to designing commercial spaces by addressing functionality, technology and user well-being and have a comprehensive portfolio of projects that respond to the topographical and natural characteristics of each building’s context.

We opened our doors in 2006 with the merging of three smaller but established companies, each holding a fundamental belief in the value of relationships. The founding companies sought the cumulative value that would come from bringing together their respective histories, projects and special focus profiles.

In keeping with our belief in openness, dialogue and natural transference, the technical team operates within one open studio space. This environment, with its extended network of expertise, is a reflection of co-rd’s vision to create (both within and beyond the physical confines of its location) an environment which easily accommodates shifts between chance, impromptu and organised constructive interactions, accommodating the many ways and sources of sharing knowledge.
